Gismonde has been working in the fields of advertising health products, particularly medicines, and pharmaceutical companies’ external communication for over fifteen years.

She began her career at VIDAL as a medical writer. In 2007, she joined the health authority AFSSAPS, which later became ANSM, where she held positions in clinical evaluation and advertising control (GP and PM visas), with more than 10,000 advertisements assessed in self-medication, gastroenterology and rare metabolic disorders. She also contributed to the development of advertising guidelines for manufacturers, and more specifically the Charter for the Marketing and Promotion of Health Products on the Internet and e-media.

In 2017, she joined a representative association of pharmaceutical companies, AFIPA, as Regulatory Manager and Internal and External Communications Officer. Her main roles were to support member companies in their regulatory activities and to represent their interests in dealings with official health authorities. Her other duties were in media and legislative monitoring, writing advocacy communications and managing corporate communication tools. She was also responsible for press relations, preparing institutional meetings and crisis communication.

Her last professional experience with an international pharmaceutical company, as an assistant pharmacist responsible for all local regulatory affairs in a portfolio of contrast products, radiopharmaceuticals and medical devices, allowed her to work primarily on developing promotional and non-promotional materials, compliance with the Anti-Gift Act and compliance with the Information and Promotional Information Charter.

Gismonde joined ATESSIA in June 2020 as the leader of the advertising business unit, bringing a 360-degree vision to external communication issues in the healthcare industries through her wide range of skills and experiences.

She participates in the company consulting activities that relate to her field of expertise.
